The REACH Code Edition 2007
Since June 1, 2007, the REACH Regulation is in force. REACH replaces more than sixty existing directives and regulations, among them the Dangerous Substances Directive, the Marketing and Use Directive (Limitation Directive) and all underlying directives and regulations.
REACH
The acronym REACH stands for an integrated system of Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restrictions of CHemical substances. REACH requires from companies manufacturing, importing and using chemical substances to collect information about the properties of a substance.
REACH refers to all manufacturers, importers, distributors and professional customers being involved in chemical substances. Not only substances at such, but also substances processed in preparations and in articles. This publication on REACH is a handy reference book that helps you to get clarity about the requirements you have to fulfill since June 1, 2007.
